Mansfield State School has been proudly educating students in the Mansfield community since 1970. We are a band 10, co-educational primary school which offers a program of excellence in academic studies for students from prep to year 7. Our school is also a school of excellence for instrumental Music. Our school curriculum framework is framed by the Australian Curriculum in the areas of English, mathematics, science and history, as well as the Queensland Curriculum in the areas of studies of society & environment, health & physical education, technology, the arts & languages other than English (French).
Our successes are the result of a strong three-way partnership involving students, parents and staff. Our community holds consistent views about the school’s identity in terms of high expectations and diverse opportunities for children. The Parents & Citizens Association, its sub-committees and working parties have worked collaboratively with the school administration team and staff to both set and realise strategic priorities. Our school would not be the wonderful place it was, without the support of our students by the community.
